Dr. Valerie Greer, director of graduate studies at the School of Architecture + Planning, was recently featured in an article on
@theU for her role in a semester-long architecture studio reimagining the downtown of Vernal, Utah. This innovative project explored
the politics and practicality of designing in the desert and fostered collaboration with Vernal City to address health, wellness, and economic
opportunities in the community. The article highlights the significance of the students' work under Dr. Greer's guidance and how their designs inspired local decision-makers. Dr. Greer emphasized the importance of small-town revitalization and the power of partnerships in architectural projects. Read the full article 

Dr. Andy Hong, Assistant Professor at School of Architecture + Planning, first roundtable on "Accessibility for Aging and Disability Populations" at the ACSP in Seattle, WA (Nov 7, 2024).
