Design Institute for Health & Resilience (DIHR) Director Keith Diaz Moore recently represented DIHR at the 19th Annual Architecture + Health Educators Summit, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, alongside the Academy of Architecture for Health Summer Leadership Summit.

The annual gathering brings together educators, researchers, and practitioners committed to advancing health and well-being through architecture and design. This year’s discussions focused on preparing the next generation of architects to integrate health, well-being, and evidence-based research into design education and professional practice, reflecting the American Institute of Architects’ growing emphasis on research for health and well-being.

The summit offered opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen collaborations, and discuss strategies to advance interdisciplinary education at the intersection of design and health. DIHR is proud to contribute to these national conversations and to support the development of healthier, more resilient communities through research, education, and practice.
