The Design Institute for Health and Resilience has updated its Research page to highlight recent publications by DIHR faculty members and collaborators.
The newly added research reflects the interdisciplinary scope of DIHR, addressing important topics such as healthy aging, housing and homelessness, age-friendly environments, environmental fall risks, energy-efficient building design, social integration, and community health. Recent publications include work examining age-friendly streetscapes and environmental fall risks, stigma experienced by people facing homelessness, social integration among housing-precarious older adults, and sustainable strategies for research buildings.
These publications demonstrate how DIHR faculty are advancing research at the intersection of health, resilience, design, and the built environment, and translating evidence into knowledge that supports healthier, more inclusive communities.
