Exploring Nature Through VR: Recruiting for a Healthier Future

We’re thrilled to kick off recruitment for our Nature VR research project, a study led by Dr. Andy Hong at the HARP Lab at the University of Utah that explores the power of immersive virtual reality to support mental well-being and healthy aging. In this project, we invite adults aged 65 and older to experience the calming and restorative effects of nature!

Nature has long been known to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and enhance mood. But access to green spaces can be limited , especially for older adults. That’s where virtual nature experiences come in. Through this project, we aim to understand how digital immersion in natural settings may offer similar health benefits to real-world environments.
