We’re proud to announce Emma Andreasen and Dustin Higginson as the first-ever recipients of the DIHR Summer Fellowship—a new initiative supporting emerging scholars engaged in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of health, architecture, and resilience.Emma and Dustin were nominated for their exceptional potential and dedication to this important field. Each has been awarded $2,500 in fellowship funding to support their work over the summer. As DIHR Summer Fellows and HARP Lab Research Assistants, they will play a key role in the Nature Rx VR project, which officially launches on June 2 under the direction of Dr. Andy Hong.
In addition to their research responsibilities, Emma and Dustin will collaborate with DIHR co-directors—Dr. Sarah Canham, Valerie Greer, and Dr. Michelle Sorweid—and will contribute written reflections and co-authored publications as part of their fellowship experience.
We’re excited to welcome them to the team and look forward to their meaningful contributions this summer!
